August 28, 2023 - Ben is livin' his best life...111 views“Continual success demands a versatile toolkit. Just as a mountaineer tests their tools on various peaks, so must we challenge our skills across different landscapes. Embrace the journey of growth, for in stagnation, even past victories can become losses.” — Merril Hoge, via Facebook.Aug 28, 2023

April 13, 2022: “Hits Deep Tour 2022 flashback!â€238 views“Everybody needs something on the road, for some it’s coffee hangs, for others it’s tying flies (Timmy Rose), for others it’s video games. For me it’s usually athletics of some kind. And I’m thankful for all my basketball brothers, my golf homies, my cornhole (bags) competitors that I get to “go at it†with on tour. It bonds friendships, relieves stress and provides fellowship that is well needed out there on the road. Grateful from the heart.†— TobyMac, via his Facebook page.Apr 14, 2022

February 10, 2022 - Ben has to wait 5 years to go into the HOF94 views…but his jersey didn’t, grass stains and all!!
From the Pro Football Hall of Fame website:
“The 2021 season was Ben Roethlisberger’s final one of his career. He started in 16 games while throwing for 3,740 yards and 22 touchdowns and led the Pittsburgh Steelers to a playoff berth. He moved into fifth all-time in career passing yards (64,088) trailing only Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Hall of Famers Peyton Manning and Brett Favre.
Roethlisberger’s jersey from Week 18 when he played in his final regular-season game is now on display in the Pro Football Today Gallery.
During the game on Jan. 9, the Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Baltimore Ravens in overtime (16-13) to clinch their playoff spot. Roethlisberger threw for 244 yards and one touchdown.â€Feb 11, 2022

February 25, 2011 - Posing with Jim Kelly1162 viewsWarm smiles on a chilly day - Ben and Jim Kelly in Buffalo, NY after dining at "Pete's Place".
Funny story from the Buffalo News (March 5th edition):
"Big Ben in Little Valley"
Deputy Cattaraugus County Clerk Alan Bernstein had a brush with fame last week.
After opening his work area in the county center last Friday, Bernstein walked to the Department of Motor Vehicles office to get coffee. With a greeting to the clerks and some customers, he did a double-take at a very tall man at the counter.
“You look just like Ben Roethlisberger,†a clerk said to the man, referring to the Pittsburgh Steelers’ quarterback.
The man pushed his paperwork forward to register two snowmobiles, and the name on the form confirmed his identity.
“Roethlisberger just kept smiling at me,†Bernstein said. “They said I squealed with delight, like a kid on Christmas. I’ve been a Steelers fan since I was a kid.â€
The quarterback, who was spending time at the Ellicottville home of former Bills’ QB Jim Kelly and was seen leaving the center in a vehicle driven by Kelly, signed autographs and was very pleasant, Bernstein said.
