Veterans Day, 20111187 viewsPFC Gordon of A- Troop 4-7 Cav. U.S. Army, Camp Hovey South Korea -
"Great job week in and week out, young guys are stepping in and working through adversity only makes the team more cohesive.
The Steelers (you guys) are the reason why I wake up at 0200hrs on a Monday morning to watch football. Its not just football, it motivates me to work hard and do what has to be done, just so I can see next weeks game. Its the reason why my peers knock on my door because they hear yelling and screaming coming out of the room down the hall. Football has always been a pastime, and the best way to enjoy it is to sit back and watch the only NFL team that brings back the good memories, warrior, and optimist out of me. The team boosts moral like no other, and makes me Proud to be an American Soldier Serving the great country, The United States of America
Added a picture of approx 12 miles north of where I am, known as the JSA.
Through my time here I've been on the hope that Hines Ward would visit, come by and me get an autograph, (lol that and the WHOLE team.) Now lets go get another ring for the other hand. (7)
Heading back stateside in December, I'm looking into attending my first ever Steelers game, keep up the great work and thank you for taking time to read this.
STEELER NATION IS AROUND THE GLOBE!

June, 2016 - Robert Rush747 views..turned 79 years young on June 10th and looked ready to try on Ben's shoes and throw a couple passes!
"My Dad couldn't smile any bigger than he is here, after Ben sent him the pair of game worn shoes from the Steeler's victory over the Bengals in the 2015 Wild Card game. As a life long Steeler fan and an individual that, when finances were extremely tight in 1974, emptied the family savings to buy equipment and start a community Pee Wee football program, in Camden, Ohio, he still enjoys catching every Steeler game. Bob Rush worked at Miami University during Ben's career and retired a few years ago. His only tough decision right now is deciding if he should display these size 14's in the family curio or wear them as house shoes." -- Vince Rush.

First Off-Season Training Session - March 19, 20072074 viewsHis mere presence at the first offseason workout, Cedrick Wilson said, shows how serious Roethlisberger is about getting things turned around after a season in which he threw the most interceptions in the NFL (23) and the Steelers missed the playoffs.
"He's here right now. That's a statement in itself," said Wilson, who started opposite Hines Ward last season but will be pushed for his starting job by Santonio Holmes. "We will definitely get onto the field, throwing the ball and catching, things of that nature."

The Dixon Family of #7's515 views"Our family has been Steelers fans as long as I can remember. My dad's side of the family is from Tyrone, PA. Its kind of funny to write about this because Ben and I are the same age and we both have sons really close in age too. Maverick was born a Steelers fan because the day after he was born, August 8, 2013, they played their first preseason game. We as the Dixon family try to install the #SteelerNation in our children's head from birth. Again, thank you for posting the pictures. It means a lot!!" -- Bryan, Kayla & Maverick Dixon.
