June 10, 2018 - The Ben Roethlisberger Foundation Charity Celebrity Softball Game, Findlay, OH440 views"It was great to see Big Ben return again to Findlay, giving back to where it all started. He was an inspiration to my great nephew many years ago and that nephew is now giving back to his alma mater, Vanlue High School, just down the road from Findlay, Ohio. He played all sports at Vanlue, attended Bluffton University and is now teaching and coaching back at his alma mater." -- F. David Gibson.

2012 Ben Roethlisberger Football Camp1373 views"The graciousness not only came from Ben, but his sister as well. Carlee was there to help out some of the kids with putting pinnies on, but she was more than accommodating taking a picture with me when I asked her. I hesitated on asking, but am glad I did. It just solidified what a great job Ben and Carlee's parents have done in raising them. From what little interaction I've had with them, its apparent they've raised not just great athletes, but even greater people. We had the time of our lives. I wish I was able to thank everyone who made it possible. I'm still in awe how great it was."

Sprint "Power To Play" mini-camp2433 viewsNEVILLE ISLAND, Pa. March 17, 2007 -- Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger hosted a minicamp for youngsters on Saturday at the Robert Morris Island Sports Center.
Thirty-three children won an essay contest on the benefits of hard work to get the chance to meet Big Ben, and even catch some passes from the Steelers star quarterback.
They also took part in sprints and a football field obstacle course.
Big Ben told Channel 11, "It's an opportunity to come out here and share some knowledge, some wisdom and some fun with these kids and share the game of football."
Roethlisberger also talked a little bit about the coaching change this year.
He didn't say much about Coach Bill Cowher's departure. But he is getting acquainted with new head coach Mike Tomlin.
Ben said, "Yeah, I've talked to him many times. I've been working out in there and had dinner with him and so we've been able to it down and talk about a lot of things."
This offseason has been pretty relaxed for Big Ben.
He followed his alma-mater, Miami of Ohio, during the team's run in the NCAA Tournament. Miami lost to Oregon by two points in the first round.
About his offseason, he also told Channel 11, "I've done a lot of traveling, golfing, watched my sister play basketball. A little bit of appearances like this with Sprint and football camps."
Roethlisberger now says his focus is on the upcoming season.
